Biography

Carolyn Hamilton-Kuby brings her vibrant spirit, authenticity and professionalism as a highly engaging public speaker and naturally gifted coach. A self-described ‘entertrainer,’ her presentations have the winning combination of being informative and inspiring – always including elements of lightness and fun!

She is celebrating 18 years of business as CEO and Owner of Morningstar Centre For Engagement (MCE) based in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Her company specializes in leadership and professional coach development, as well as adult education, which are delivered through Executive Coaching, Mentor Coaching, Corporate Training/Workshop Facilitation, and Motivational Speaking.

MCE client-base includes/has included national and international clients in various leadership capacities from numerous sectors including all levels of government, Indigenous communities, academic institutions, health care organizations, and corporate offices of some Fortune 500 companies/global organizations.

Apart from entrepreneurship, Carolyn’s leadership expertise also stems from a previous 10-year career as a Human Resources (HR) professional in the government of Canada. She held progressively responsible managerial and leadership positions at local, regional offices and corporate headquarters levels.

Having completed the Royal Roads University (RRU) Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching program, Carolyn is a Certified Executive Coach. She is also a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) -- and a registered Mentor Coach -- with the International Coach Federation (ICF.) Through contributions as a writer of ICF published blogs and articles, Carolyn has been acknowledged as a Thought Leader on Coaching Competencies, since 2017.

Since 2018, she has been a Coach Facilitator with World Business Executive Coach Summit (WBECS) and was recognized as a WBECS 2018 Top Facilitator of Implementation Mastery and Round Table Sessions.

As of 2020, she was chosen as an Executive Coach with Ethical Coach (WILD network.) Carolyn is in the midst of finalizing a leadership self-help book and is thrilled to be a speaker at the 2020 WBECS Coach Showcase!

As workplace re-entry and re-adjustment take place amid the global pandemic, leaders and teams are transitioning more so within workplace settings (whether at home or within organizations.) This presentation is designed to provide self-empowerment tips and strategies to help in effectively navigating aspects of the new workplace landscape -- the new normal. At the heart of successful adjustment are elements of change and stress management and, thereby, self-management. With those in mind, this session will cover ways to successfully manage adjustment (and anxiety around it) using fun and easily memorable spins on taking a coach approach, diversity appreciation and mindfulness. Once tools are in place to facilitate self-empowerment, the door opens to launch more so into forward movement -- shifting from surviving to thriving! Part of the presentation will include tips/techniques to facilitate connection to motivation and enhance personal energy (core components to momentum-building.) Threaded within the presentation will be valuable information and tools/tips/techniques gleaned from Carolyn’s solid background and expertise in facilitating self-awareness and diversity appreciation. All aspects will be drawn from the unique combination of her specialties in Coaching, Mindfulness, Neuro-Linguistics Programming, Leadership and Human Resources Management.
