To be successful, a coach must be a role model for growth, development and fully conscious leadership practices. Having a fully articulated Leadership Point of View© will provide you with a deep core strength and help you to attract the clients you will do your best work with.

Sharing your LPoV® with your clients will:
• Help you to cut to the chase and skip the “relationship building” that so many coaches spend entirely too much time on.
• Ensure that the partnership is built on shared values. • Guarantee deepest alignment on approaches, actions and outcomes.
• Allow them to bring their true, most authentic selves to the coaching work.
• Be encouraged to articulate their own LPoV®, which will help them to be the powerful leaders they want to be.
• Achieve the radical shifts and inspired transformation they are looking for.

Your LPoV® encompasses your vision for your coaching work, and your attitudes and beliefs about coaching. It explicitly states the standards you hold yourself to and what you expect of your clients. Finally, it will serve as your road map for how you will behave when a client is in crisis or when the coaching relationship is at risk.

1. Learn a step by step method to create your own Leadership Point of View.
2. Gain a deeper knowledge of who you are and how you impact others.
3. Never second guess how you are “showing up” again. Know exactly and unequivocally what you bring to the table as a coach.

Biography

Being a coach is no joke. When listening is your superpower, people tell you things you can’t unhear; it can be a crushing responsibility. The more masterful a coach you are, the more clients depend on you to be impeccable.

How do the best coaches have what it takes to show up day after day, hour after hour to provide a transformational environment for their clients? Thomas Leonard, (creator of Coach University, The ICF and Coachville) insisted that the most critical key to coach success was their dedication to their own Personal Foundation.

Most coach training programs do not address the fact that Personal Foundation is the concrete pad on which a coach builds their life and business.

A coach will only attract and retain clients if they are a role model for rising to the relentless challenge of being human with grace and aplomb. A coach must be a master of their own needs, quickly identify values misalignments, create a reserve in all areas to be free of distractions, and be actively working on their own healing and weaknesses. Constant attention to PF is non-negotiable. What is PF exactly and how does one go about working on it?

1. The 6 critical dimensions to examine to uncover the weaknesses in your Personal Foundation. If you think or hope that no one is noticing, you are kidding yourself.

2. If you are having trouble attracting or retaining the clients you want, worry less about marketing and more about how you are showing up. This applies to advanced coaches who are not breaking through to the highest levels of leadership the way they want. How do you up your game? Personal Foundation, every time.

3. As a coach, you will do your best work with people who are either one step behind or one step ahead of you in key areas. You need to be learning as much from your clients as they learn from you, that's when the magic happens.

Panel Discussion: Personal Foundation & How it Contributes to Coach Success

Biography

Join our panel of Master Certified Coaches who have experienced the power of how a strong Personal Foundation contributes to a successful coaching career.
Learn how:

• The lies we tell ourselves about what we want, need, and value can undermine our professional hopes and dreams.
• Deep personal work that doesn’t seem to be connected to professional success can make all the difference.
• The smallest lapses in integrity can trip us up big time.
• Easy it can be to step over the red flags and make choices that will erode our PF to generate revenue, raise professional visibility, or (paradoxically) make someone else happy. And the cost of doing so.
• Some mistakes need to be made more than once – essentially until the pain of making it deters you once and for all from ever making it again.
• It can make all the difference to slow down and do the work in order to go fast later. •

This is the one area where you can’t "fake it till you make it". Come and hear the wisdom of hard-won experience – expect some extraordinary pioneers and leaders in the coaching profession to tell on themselves with humor and grace.

1. Classic pitfalls of early success and how to avoid them.

2. How to avoid the classic regrets that most coaches have collected over decades of coaching.

3. You don’t have to be perfect, but you do need to be honest with yourself about what still needs (a lot?) of work.
