Here’s What People Are Saying About Professors Peter Hawkins, David Clutterbuck & GTCI:
“It's the idea that the team itself is an organism that has its own ability to think - which is not the same as just adding up what each person's view is. That something happens in the space between that interaction, which is an emergent phenomena that is very important from a team - a coaching - point of view.”

Frequently asked questions
How do I make the business case for team coaching?OpenClose
The starting point is, “What’s the cost of NOT having highly effective teams – now and in the near future?” The biggest barrier is that people assume mediocre teams are too difficult to tackle. This isn’t the case if you have the right tools and teaching at your disposal. Often, once one team in an organization transforms itself, others begin to ask, “Why can’t we do that?”
Where is the greatest need for team coaching right now?OpenClose
Some of the key markets we see right now are:
Project teams and new teams
Team leaders who do not involve their team in decision making or solution discovery
Agile teams
Leadership teams aiming to make team leadership a competitive advantage
Team mergers – how do you create a shared “future history” and enable members to truly value each other
Teams that need to become better linked with their stakeholders
Boards of companies to collaborate and co create the future of their organization
How do I build an effective Team Coaching Practice?OpenClose
You can use your interactions working with team leaders to help them coach their teams, to build your confidence and portfolio of approaches.
Once you’ve been certified at the Practitioner level and have reached the point in your learning, where you are confident to start coaching teams, offer your services to the leaders you support. You can also bring in other experienced team coaches to co-create the engagement.
You might also want to consider becoming an understudy to an experienced and accredited team coach to continue aspiring to a higher level of development.
